York Regional Police: Responding to Vulnerable Persons in our Community

Come join members of the Community Engagement and Well-being Team, from York Regional Police as they discuss the following topics:

• The Vulnerable Person Registry
• Strategies to address exit seeking behaviour
• Project Lifesaver
• The role of mental health teams
• How officers respond to mental health calls

This workshop is for families with children/youth with a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder and are registered with The Ontario Autism Program (OAP). We also invite caregivers and professionals who are interested in learning more.
