Lunch 'n learn with Geraldine Crisci: Who Supports Me As I Support My Child?

Many parents are either parenting alone, or parenting with minimal support from a partner who works full time to support the family financially. Many families have no family nor friends to help them. Feeling alone and isolated can create further stress, when caring for children/youth/adults with complex needs.

This Lunch and Learn will be an opportunity to take a step back and look at possible creative ways to help ourselves, when we feel we're working "in a vacuum". How to use whatever you have to make your situation better for you and your family.

This workshop is being presented by Geraldine Crisci, M.S.W. who is a mental health professional with over 30 years experience in the field of trauma. She is a private practitioner who provides assessment and treatment to children, youth and their families. She is also a professional trainer providing educational programs to mental health, protective services, law enforcement, medical and other helping professions. Geraldine has developed and teaches a six-day Trauma Assessment and Treatment Program which has reached 6000 professionals in the past 18 years.

This workshop is geared towards parents and caregivers.
