Ask an SLP (Speech Language Pathologist) – Exploring Language Development

We are joined by an SLP from Sunbeam Community & Developmental Services. This parent training webinar will explore language development for children 6 and under and with a focus on:

• Strategies if your is child is not talking
• What to do if your child is talking in single words
• How to encourage communication at home
• How to help your child who repeats everything (echolalia)
• Alternative forms of communication

Each session will have a short presentation and then will be open to your questions about how to help your child’s speech and language skills.

This workshop is targeted to families and caregivers with children 0-6 yrs old with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder and registered with The Ontario Autism Program (OAP).
