Na-Me-Res has launched a new program in York Region that proudly facilitates Indigenous supports to clients by providing a safe space to access and navigate community resources, grow, and thrive.
Na-Me-Res York Region program accommodates the growing needs of the community and facilitates greater understanding of the underlying reasons for Indigenous homelessness by implementing understanding and supportive programming to address those causes with culturally safe and wholistic supports.
The Na-Me-Res York Region team of Indigenous outreach workers provides a circle of care supports based on individual and family needs. They aim to establish and maintain a strong connection with Na-Ma-Res, the community of care and to the Indigenous community.
If you have any questions regarding their services, please contact Na-Me-Res York Region Indigenous outreach workers Sherrie Fraser at shfraser@nameres.org or Roxanne Kropf at rkropf@nameres.org. You can also call the outreach line at 647-519-4561.
