Understanding the Key Elements of PPM 140 with Ed Mahony

During this webinar, we are joined by Ed Mahony, Parent Advocate and Special Education Behaviour Consultant/Resource Teacher. He will help caregivers understand the legal implications of PPM 140 – the Policy/Program memorandum issued by the Ministry of Education that establishes a policy framework to support incorporation of ABA methods into school boards’ practices.
We will learn about the key elements of ABA (as described in the memorandum) and how they can be used to support students in the classroom.
*PPM-140 is an Ontario Ministry of Education directive to incorporate methods of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) into programs for students with ASD.
All workshops are for families with children/youth with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder and are registered with The Ontario Autism Program (OAP).
